Who we are

Science Behind Hairdressing is run by Laura Everitt at D&L Hair Collective, 13 Upper Green, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, WV6 8QH. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it.

What we collect

When you use the contact or education forms we collect your name, email address and the message you send us. If you sign up to the newsletter we collect your email address. We don't collect anything else through this site, and we never ask for payment details here.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to arrange appointments or education bookings, and — only if you signed up — to send occasional updates about services and education. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. Bookings are handled by our booking provider (Fresha), and emails are sent through our email platform; both act on our behalf and have their own privacy policies. We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, email [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site doesn't set tracking or advertising cookies. Embedded content from other services (such as Instagram links or the booking system) may set their own cookies when you use them.
